Stansted kindly offered to host this game which turned out to be a very useful excercise for all involved.
The Reserves bought along 4 New Traiists. Michael Clayton, Tom Sansom, Brad Jarvis and Jack Clark. In addition, There were also run outs given to Tom PLUCK and also to Keeper Josh BATES.
It was also pleasing to see the return of central defender Reef Cowell who was returning from a 6 week injury lay off. Cowell gave an impressive 45 minutes which will have helped massively on his comeback trail
Bates, to his credit gave a paticulaly good showing and captured the MOM award.
There was some decent football played by the young reserves and Liam MOIR was enjoying his much deserved 90 minute outing. So much so that he managed to net a well taken equaliser early in the second half.
Stansted managed the winner with around 15 minutes to go but it couldnt take the shine off what was a very useful fixture played by 2 teams who were intent on trying to play the right way.
